THE METABOLIC BLUEPRINT
A functional medicine workup that maps what’s actually happening — and how it’s all connected.
Comprehensive testing. A one-hour Lab Review with your clinician. A written plan you understand and can act on. Focuses your efforts without oversimplifying.
Why a full Blueprint — not just one test.
Symptoms like fatigue, stalled weight, off cycles, or just not feeling right can come from a lot of different places — gut, hormones, thyroid, blood sugar, inflammation, nutrient gaps. Running one test usually doesn’t show the whole picture. The Blueprint runs the tests that, together, show what’s actually driving things in your body and what to do about it.
Who this is right for.
Most people who land here have been telling someone — a doctor, a coach, themselves — that something isn’t right. The Blueprint is for the moment you’re done guessing.
If you’ve been told
“Your labs look fine” — but you know they don’t, because you don’t feel fine. The Blueprint runs the labs your PCP doesn’t, and explains what’s actually happening.
If you’re stuck on
Stalled weight loss, fatigue that won’t lift, cycles that are off, mood and energy crashes — symptoms that overlap and never get clearly explained. The Blueprint untangles them.
If you’ve tried
Diet after diet, supplement after supplement, hoping something would work — without a clear picture of why nothing has stuck. The Blueprint stops the trial-and-error.
If you’re considering
The Reset — and want to see what your physiology is actually doing before committing to a six-month program. About 75-85% of Blueprint patients move forward into The Reset. The Blueprint is how they decide.
NEVER DELEGATED · ALWAYS THE SAME CLINICIAN
Every Blueprint includes a one-hour Lab Review.
First 30 minutes
What we see. What’s abnormal. How it shows up specifically in your case.
Next 30 minutes
What to do about it. The plan in plain English, with priorities clearly ranked.
Close
Your options. No pressure — we match the path to what you’re actually trying to do.
Patients consistently call this one of the most thorough clinical conversations they’ve had. Always with the same clinician — not delegated.
What gets ordered.
Four labs that, together, give us a connected view of metabolism, hormones, gut, and inflammation. Customizable up or down depending on what your case calls for.
“How is my body actually working?”
A much fuller blood panel than a typical PCP visit. Shows how systems are working, not just whether you cross the threshold for medication.
“What are my hormones actually doing?”
A urine hormone test (DUTCH) collected at home over a day. Cortisol, estrogen, progesterone, androgens — the pathway, not just a snapshot.
“What’s living in my gut?”
A DNA-based stool test (qPCR). Identifies the good, the not-so-good, and the things that shouldn’t be there. Drives a huge fraction of how you feel.
“Is my gut lining holding up?”
The “leaky gut” test. Tells us whether your gut barrier is intact or letting things through that shouldn’t get through. Conventional medicine doesn’t run this one.
Why this goes beyond a hospital workup.
Conventional bloodwork asks
“Do you need a medication, or are you in a disease state?”
Yes-or-no answers. Useful for ruling out disease, but it doesn’t tell you much about why you don’t feel right or where to start fixing it.
The Blueprint asks
“How well is everything actually working — and where does the real problem start?”
More detailed and more useful. Shows us what to work on first and why — so the plan is targeted, not a guess.
Your PCP, by design, won’t order the hormone, stool, or gut-lining tests. The bloodwork they run is also narrower than what we order. That’s not a knock on conventional medicine — it’s just doing a different job.
What you walk away with.
A focused 4-5 page document. Yours to keep. Designed to be clear and actionable — not a 50-page binder of bloat you’ll never read.
A sample Blueprint (sanitized patient data) — what every Blueprint looks like in your hands.

The timeline: about three weeks of clarity, not three weeks of silence.
Your effort is minimal — collect at-home samples, ship them off. The slowest step is the labs themselves (DUTCH and GI-MAP take the longest). What’s different here: you’re never wondering where you are in the process.
How you stay informed
Each lab is uploaded to your chart and emailed to you as it arrives. We send a “your test is back, waiting on the others” update each time. When everything’s in, we send the booking link for your Lab Review. You can look at the raw labs ahead of the appointment if you want — but you don’t have to understand them yet. That’s what the appointment is for.
What changes for you.
The point of the Blueprint isn’t the labs. It’s what the labs let you finally do.
Clarity instead of guessing
You stop wondering what’s wrong. You see what’s going on — and you understand why you’ve been feeling the way you’ve been feeling.
Direction instead of trial and error
A targeted plan — what to do first, what to do next, what to leave alone. No more buying random supplements or trying the next viral diet.
Confidence to make decisions
You’ll know which path makes sense for you — The Reset, Self-Guided, or taking the insight forward on your own. No pressure either way.
A document that stays useful
The Blueprint stays with you. Patients come back months or years later when something shifts — it’s still relevant. Yours to keep.
Already measured? Here’s your path.
If you’ve already done an InBody Scan or the Comprehensive Assessment, you’ve measured where things stand — body composition and metabolic rate, in real numbers. The Metabolic Blueprint is the next layer down: it answers why those numbers look the way they do, testing gut, hormones, thyroid, blood sugar, and inflammation so we target the actual drivers instead of guessing. Your earlier results carry into the Blueprint — you’re building on what you’ve already done, not starting over.
PRICED CLOSE TO COST · LIGHT MARGIN, NOT A MARKUP MACHINE
We price the tests close to our cost.
We don’t mark up the testing. We profit on the clinical work that goes around them — the one-hour Lab Review, the interpretation, the protocol. We’d rather get you the information you need than mark up tests for revenue.
If your PCP already ran your bloodwork recently, we’ll take that off the Blueprint price. We don’t care where the information comes from. We care that we get what we need.
THE INVESTMENT
~$1,250 for the full Blueprint workup.
Covers all four labs at near-cost, the one-hour Lab Review, the written report, and the printed copy if you’re in-office.
Pay in full
$100 off if you pay the full amount up front.
Split it
Two payments, two weeks apart. No interest, no extra fees.
HSA/FSA eligible — this is exactly the type of care those accounts exist to cover.
What you do with your Blueprint is your call.
After the Lab Review, we lay out the options. No pressure, no upsell tactics. About 75–85% of Blueprint patients go into The Reset because that’s the structured path the data points to. Some go Self-Guided. Some take the insight forward on their own. Some come back months or years later when they’re ready. All of those are reasonable.
The Blueprint isn’t a sales funnel for The Reset. It’s a real assessment. Sometimes the labs come back surprisingly clean and the answer is “you’re doing well — here are a few areas of cleanup.” We tell you what we see.
What patients say.
He told me at my initial review I had no idea how good I could feel — and he was right.
“I started seeing Dr Jared about a year and a half ago when I was tired of not getting help from my regular physicians. Dr Jared recommended a lot of tests but found the root causes for my stomach pain/hormonal imbalances/weight gain/fatigue. He told me at my initial review of the test results that I had no idea how good I could (and should!) feel — and he was right. Through diet changes and supplements I have more energy, more control of my emotions, I’ve lost body fat/bloat, and I feel good about my body again.”

More answers in a couple months than ever in the traditional doctor’s office.
“Dr Jared is great. If you’ve been struggling and need answers and a Dr. that listens, this is the place for you. I was so sick of the traditional system, I want getting help or answers. I also was really interested in getting a Dutch test, which other dr offices won’t offer and Dr Jared does. Along with other valuable tests. I received more answers/help and progress in a couple months here than ever in the traditional dr office setting.”

Frequently asked.
How long does this take?
From your free consult to a finished Blueprint is typically 2-4 weeks. Panel collection and processing time varies (gut and hormone panels typically take 2-3 weeks; blood chemistry can be next-day).
Do I need to be a patient to order a Blueprint?
You need a free consult first. The Blueprint isn’t a self-checkout product — the panels are chosen based on what your case calls for, which requires Dr Jared’s clinical judgment.
What if I already have recent labs from my primary care doctor?
We can incorporate them. We’ll review what you already have at the consult and order only what’s missing. This typically reduces total cost.
Why is this $1,250 when I can get “wellness panels” online for $99?
Different product. The online panels are templated bloodwork with an automated interpretation. The Blueprint is custom panels chosen by a clinician, interpreted through clinical pattern recognition, with a designed report and a one-hour Lab Review appointment. The full clinical workup is included — not just the lab data.
What if my Blueprint says I don’t need a treatment program?
That’s a valid outcome. We’ve had Blueprints that pointed to a single targeted intervention rather than a full Reset. We work with what the data actually says.
Can I do a Blueprint and not enroll in The Reset?
Yes — that’s what Self-Guided is. Some patients take this path.
Are the panels reimbursable by insurance?
Some are. Most functional medicine panels (GI-MAP, DUTCH, etc.) are not. You can typically use HSA/FSA. We provide itemized receipts.
